Pale Horse Precision, Inc. offers a variety of courses designed specifically for the military and law enforcement. We strive to provide the best sniper and tactical marksmanship training and are able to customize the training to meet your individual needs and operating environments.
We can travel to you and conduct the training at your facilities, or you can come and train at our private facility located 2.5 hours west of San Antonio, Texas. Our 12,000 acre facility offers long range shooting opportunities with challenging winds on multiple live fire ranges. The rugged terrain and shifting winds create an environment of complicated long range shooting scenarios and is an ideal place for any sniper to challenge and sharpen his skills. The training facility provides 20 static long distance live fire ranges, 4 "drive around" long distance live fire ranges, a 20 person private classroom (powerpoint capable), lodging and meals, 4x4 transportation around the facility, a secure weapon/ammunition storage, and a cleaning locker.

Level 1 Sniper Course (5 - 7 Day)
Pale Horse Precision’s Level 1 Sniper Course is aimed to broaden the skills of a basically trained military sniper and sniper team. The first part of the course provides a refresher to students of the fundamentals of sniping and quickly moves beyond the basics to offer new information and refined techniques to enhance the student’s baseline knowledge. The student will receive detailed instruction and field application on exterior ballistics, long range precision shooting, understanding and calling wind, the use of a ballistic calculator, cold bore shooting, improvised field shooting, night shooting and much more. Each student will be challenged with 10 graded live fire events over the 5-7 days of training. This course will challenge the most seasoned shooter and is a must for any sniper wanting to take their skills to the next level.
Level 2 Sniper Course (5 - 7 Day)
Pale Horse Precision’s Level 2 Sniper Course builds upon the skills learned in the Level 1 Sniper Course but focuses on extended range shooting, trying to push the limits of the student's weapon system from improvised/unconventional positions. In addition, the student will recieve instruction on all of the variables associated with extended range shooting and fieldcraft. They will be challenged with multiple long range live fire concealment exercises, multiple static long range precision live fire exercises, multiple graded long range cold bore exercises, and night shooting, all conducted in a tactical setting.
Sniper Instructor Course (5 day)
Pale Horse Precision’s Sniper Instructor Course is designed to train sniper instructors, sniper team leaders, or any snipers in a leadership billet. The defining factor of the quality of any training course is the knowledge base, experience, and organization of the instructors leading it. The goal of this course is to teach the students how to plan and instruct streamlined progressive sniper training. The focus of the course is on instructional techniques, the applicable skills related with sniper training, the identification of training needs, course preparation, continued education and incorporates plenty of range time.
Urban Sniper Course (5 day)
Pale Horse Precision's Urban Sniper Course is designed to train the sniper on tactics and procedures when operating in an urban environment. The focus of this course is building Urban Hides, precision shooting out to approx 300 meters on small targets, improvised position shooting, and loophole shooting.
Law Enforcement Sniper Course (3 - 5 Day)
Pale Horse Precision’s Law Enforcement Sniper Course is designed to first provide a review of fundamental sniper skills to students in order to establish baseline proficiency. Then the course rapidly moves beyond the basics to teach more comprehensive shooting methods and techniques to increase the student’s tactical capabilities. Students will receive detailed instruction on ballistics, medium to long range precision shooting, sniper employment, understanding and calling wind, cold bore shooting, urban hides, techniques of observation, improvised field shooting and much more. By the end of the course, each student will have the assurance and ability to be employed as a sniper in a tactical environment.
Aerial Platform Sniper Course (3 - 5 Day)
Pale Horse Precision’s Aerial Platform Sniper Course consists of classroom lecture and extensive practical application. Course instruction will include aircraft/sniper employment, the aircraft capabilities and platform rigging, marksmanship from the aircraft, communications, pilot’s brief, ship familiarization, precision fires, and three to four days of live fire practical application from a helicopter(s). Minimum of six (6) students and max of ten (10). Students must be qualified Snipers per their unit/agency standard. Unit will have to provide the air and training area to conduct this course.

* Each student will receive handouts to reference of all the material covered in the course and a certificate for attending.
* A Custom Sniper Course can be built around the client's specific needs.
* All courses are designed around a 5-7 day training schedule for 6-15 students, but can be otherwise customized to meet a client's needs.
* The courses outlined above are available to active/reserve military, DOD, other government agencies, and law enforcement personnel ONLY and are designed for students that have prior formal military or law enforcement sniper training.
